CLUB
Membership:
Increase our membership by 10%.
Encourage
weekly attendance.
Schedule speakers well in advance and communicate to membership via
newsletter, website, and
announcements
are club meetings.
Literacy:
Work with Perry Library, Stark County Library on joint event.
Foundation:
Contribute $1000.00 as a club to name a Paul Harris Fellow.
Fellowship:
Strive for greater attendance and participation of club members at various events such as A Night at the Perry Play, Winter Blah/Holiday Get-together, Easter Egg Hunt, Basketball Preview and other club events.
Projects:
Complete pavilion project - add electricity, Hartwick Park sign and landscaping.
Research the possibility of a community skate/bicycle park.
Clothes for Kids:
$1,000 donation to area families during the holiday season.
Christmas Adopt a Family:
Adopt a family from both Perry Local Schools and Central Catholic/St. Joan of Arc.
Easter Egg Hunt:
This has become a sought after Perry Township tradition.
Pavilion:
Constantly maintain the pavilion improvements and promote the use of the community of this beautiful facility.
Cecchini Humanitarian Award:
A special event to highlight a community member who has gone above and beyond what is asked or expected.
RYLA:
Send 4 students from each high school to Salem Rotary Youth Leadership Awards program in Salem.
Outstanding Senior Citizen Award:
Honors two senior citizens for outstanding community involvement.
Spring Outstanding Student Recognition Award Luncheon:
Recognize outstanding student’s accomplishments from both Perry and Central Catholic High Schools.
4 Way Test Speech Contest:
Continue this very worthwhile project, last year was a testament to what can be accomplished.
Can Do Award:
Continue with this event.
Paul Steiner Vocational Service Award:
Honors a person who exhibits in his or her chosen vocation, has had a visible impact on the Perry Community within that vocation. Person must meet our guidelines and be held up to the highest of standards in honor of Paul.
